Spring Training – Tailored and Targeted

Work on the skills to make you an all-star on any team! This is a new experimental workshop for experienced improvisers who are looking to round out their skill set. Five weeks because we’re going to do diagnostics and tailor exercises to you based on what we agree on are your strengths and areas for improvement. Bring a kind, but self-reflective eye and lots of non-judgemental awareness.

Pre-Reqs: Must have taken WE Improv before, preferrably two workshops. Must be vaccinated.

Workshops: Wednesdays 12pm-2pm (June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, July 6th) at The Clubhouse

Shows: Fridays 8:30pm (June 10th, 17th, 24th, July 1st, July 8th) at THE CLUBHOUSE

Description

Confusing title because it’s not spring. This is a new experimental workshop for experienced improvisers who are looking to round out their skill set. Players will self-select an area they want to work on. That will be combined with teacher observations from the first two weeks to build exercises to specifically target areas for improvement.  It’s five weeks because the first two weeks will be diagnostics to identify what your strengths are and then minimize your ability to lean on them so we can strengthen other areas. Not for the faint of heart. Just kidding. It’ll be fine, but come with that non-judgmental awareness.
