This six-week sketch comedy workshop will help you develop a clear, confident voice while putting together a polished packet of original work. Through weekly writing exercises, discussion, and guided feedback, you'll generate ideas, sharpen premises, and revise sketches without losing what makes them youl. Bring in existing sketches in need of punching up or try out new premises. By the end of the course, each student will leave with a curated sketch packet that showcases their unique point of view and comedic voice.

BIO
Mark Rennie is a sketch comedy veteran who’s written on two UCB Maude teams and directed multiple Maude teams. He’s worked for The Onion, Funny or Die, and Walt Disney Television Animation.
